One Last December

Sometimes you just cannot hide
Waking up to a familiar voice
Looking at the intimate walls
Shaking off the last night's slumber

Too many souls do not want to break lose
The distant cries yelling in agony
Does our fate deserve one more chance?
To embrace your bereaved mind
Can we disappear like the setting sun?
Can we make love in the winter woods?
But baby, you already know
We're in our one last December

You testify my choice of coat
Tell me no lies about how I look
And the last glass of wine you hold
You know you look pretty and bold

Now, as I sit in my lonesome couch
And think of all the promises I made
Looking outside through the shady window
Starring at the lucid sky
Enduring a sudden soreness in my heart
I blame myself for the person I am
But I will come back to make it merry
'Cause this is not our one last December

Song for the Mountains

Think about the sun kissed lips
And broken rainbows around
Nothing more than a charade
An endless dream echoing madness
Little fingers caressing the strings
And goosebumps to cherish forever

The cloud above and the time
Were moving with a similar pace
As if a little son was matching his mother's footsteps
Or like the little trees far away
Bowing down to the gushing wind
Pleading to the mountains for mercy

The earth around felt alone and cold for years
With brazen assurance it smiled back to the peaks around
An unexpected melancholy woke her up
From a dream that lasted a few seconds
A dream where all the ridges were singing
The famous X-Mas carols, the birds were chirping
And the moon in the northern sky started to get all the attention

Suddenly the direction of the wind changes
And the world becomes upside down
With the mountains looking for the last piece in the puzzle
And you can only stand there and watch
The misty mountains disappear under
A thick smoke of cloud or under
A cloak of darkness, only to undress
The mountain top with a notch of moonlight

Picture of You

Walking past the harrowed trees
Stuck in a camouflaged dream, can’t get out
Tales about miseries
Remorse, abdication and silver tears

And I’m grieving alone
Trying to hide from the rogue that breeds
Fading away in the lights
Looking for a life that leads to you

And I’m bound to look at winter clouds
To find a ray of another you
I cried to the pines that strayed behind
As I drew a picture of you
