A Dog Barking in The Rain

Glide like a timid river in the night
Rage like a zealous stream in the day
The clouds might fool you once or twice
But the pennant would point you the right way
And when you hear a dog barking in the rain
You wouldn't care, you wouldn't share your pain

You would fall in love with the pine trees
You would be overwhelmed by the nature's sounds
You would sail away like an arrogant pirate
And let tomorrow decide your fate
But when you hear a dog barking in the rain
You wouldn't care, you wouldn't share your pain

You reminisce about the cold foggy nights
Sailing through the heart of a mountain
Listening to the songbirds echo in happiness
And you wished you knew the tunes
But when you hear a dog barking in the rain
You wouldn't care, you wouldn't share your pain

The stupendous thrill during the course of the night
As if you were climbing above without a plight of stairs
The rain washed all your miseries away
But some of them would come to haunt you
When you hear a dog barking in the rain
But you wouldn't care, you wouldn't share your pain
