A Soliloquy for the Deceased

The sole reason behind this excerpt is my queer state of solidarity for the JAWANS and SOLDIERS of our country who have lost their lives rather donated it selflessly. Especially dedicated to the victims of Uttarkhand utopia and the rescue teams which have suffered harsh deaths and saved lives in return.

Feeling dismantled and debilitated
Bereavement and futile solidarity
Now the dress code looks despicable
Bloodstained and scornful obscenity
Why this discriminatory chastisement?
A Malevolent creation of catastrophe
The respect of the badge is lost
It has disappeared with the mortal
Many lives lost,they being one
The count reciprocated each day
Hideous and reproachful act of valor
The men in power were coward
As the right to call a father
The right to owe a kiss
A kiss to one husband
Soon started to disappear
That uniform is irreplaceable
But it soon died with the mortal
Can wealth be a replacement?
A consolation for the ones
Whose blood have been robbed
Abhor these heartless men in power
For they will never decipher
The voice of the deprived
Seeking for their dear ones
Everyone is taken aback
A methodical reminiscence
And then it's all over
Traded lives in exchange of lives
Kids ostracized for all wrong reasons
Promised to call mother in the evening
The call which never came
That voice was never heard again
And they tried to buy happiness
With filthy wealth

Death Skull Ritual II, 2013

It was finally time for us to get out of our country's border and gift our brothers across the border with some Indian death metal delicacy. A couple of weeks back it looked like we won't make it because our drummer found it really difficult to get his visa work done for the trip. Some relentless support by our brothers from Orator and Nafis bro made it possible for us to turn our dream into reality. Excitement was mutual as it looked like. We got our visas and tickets work done 1 week prior to our trip and were ready to kick some serious ass in Bangladesh. Our train left from Kolkata station for Dhaka on 19.2.2013 around 7:10 am in the morning.

The train journey was fairly comfortable until we arrived at the immigration and custom centers both at the Indian border as well as the Bangladesh border. We had to step out of our train with our bag packs for the formalities and the process looked really tiring and frustrating. After finishing off with our formalities at the Indian border we had to step out again at the Bangladesh border where things looked even worse.
After getting our work done at the Bangladesh border, we headed towards our destination with a more relaxed mind. Time was running away like a whisker when we were really busy capturing a few moments in our cameras.

The train was really very punctual and it reached Dhaka Cantonment sharp at 6:15 pm. Our brothers Sajid and Nafis bhai came to pick us up and they were waiting at the station. Their nature and politeness had already created an impression on us. After a tea drinking session we met with Partho bhai from Orator who also came to pick us up. We finally headed towards Amit bhai's place where we were supposed to spend the rest of our days. Amit bhai, yeah you heard it right, frontman of mighty Orator. The country has a really big issue with traffic jams and it became really late for us to reach our destination, nevertheless the excitement level had already touched its peak. We met with Amit bhai at his place and he looked very happy to have us at his place. We entered the 4th floor where we were supposed to stay. The place was completely arranged for us to stay. They started treating us like we are a huge act from U.K or U.S but then this sense of equality has made them such big musicians. Nafis bhai and Vritra bhai tripped on some Old monk from Bengal. After a photo as well a chatting session we went for our dinner. Tasty chicken curry along with a couple of other Bengali dishes were served and it was especially cooked for us by Amit bhai's wife.
It was really a tiring day after the journey and we soon hit our beds for some good night sleep. The morning was bright and we prepared ourselves for some sheer desecration at the rehearsal pad. After getting our breakfast done we headed towards Music Mania, a rehearsal pad at Dhanmondi area in Dhaka. Mim bro from homicide found it really difficult to pick up our songs because he is not that much into old school. We took a break and went to Lailaty kebab center for a lovely Beef masala dish. After we finished our lunch we went for our practice session. After Mim called it quits we took help of Zawad from Overdrive to help us out with one of our originals "Immaculate". Even Partho bhai from Orator agreed to help us out with two of our originals "System Impaled" and "Repugnant Flesh" and two cover songs "Autopsy-Charred Remains" and "Suffocation-Infecting the Crypts". We practiced with Partho bhai and Zawad bhai from 8pm to 10pm on that day and things looked really impressive then. After our practice was over, we went to a kebab shop which was 5-10mins from the rehearsal pad. We had sexy Beef sheekh kebab with tandoori roti. We were always accompanied by Nafis bhai, Amit bhai and Vritra bhai. After a wonderful dinner we went back to our place and waited for the final decimation at the rehearsal pad. We really waited for the daylight.
The next day, 21.2.2013 is celebrated as National Language day in Bangladesh. It was a national holiday. We completed our breakfast and headed towards the rehearsal studio for one final jamming session. It was amazing to see how tight our practice session went with both the drummers considering the fact that they just had few hours to pick up our songs. In between we went to Tsunami Restaurant and had "Kachhi Biriyani" which was a very tasty delicacy of Bangladesh. After lunch we went back and practiced our songs for one last time before the big day and everything went great. Our jamming session was followed by an epic event. An Orator jamming session and we were all blown away by the intense compositions by the heavyweights.
Even if it was not planned and considering the fact that nothing goes great if planned, myself and Ayushman went to the hair parlor to give ourselves a complete different hairstyle and look. We turned skinheads and fucking love it. After the haircut we went to Nafis bhai's place for Alcoholistic Rum ritual followed by Teyari house for some delicious Teryari. The dinner was done and we headed towards Amit bhai's place for the last night sleep before the big day, The Death Skull Ritual Day.
The weather was very comfortable and pleasing as we slept soundly and waited for decimation at the national library, Dhaka. We completed our dinner and headed towards our venue accompanied by Amit bhai himself. We soon reached the venue and met with some of the truest metalheads out there. The drums were being checked and as soon as the monitors were balanced, we went up on stage for a small soundcheck. The crowd was a bit on the lower side due to the riot and some unfortunate incidents that have taken place in the city but nevertheless the number of people that have turned up was totally insane.

It was around 5pm in the evening when Enamchined marked the beginning of the show. It is needless to point out the mammoth of talent these Bangladesh bands have. After some sick performances by Enmachined, Nuclear Winter and Warhound it was time for us to get up on stage and really make an impression in front of some really great literate metalheads. As soon as we were on stage, the whole place looked very crowded and all the volunteers came inside to show their love and support. We started our track list with Immaculate and Zawad simply slayed on stage. The whole crowd chanted our name and it was really a huge moment for us. Then came Partho bhai on stage and he fucking nailed each and every song on stage. The crowd couldn't stop chanting our names. Immense support from the crowd and everyone loved us. It was really a very special performance for us because we had dedicated few of our songs to the victims of the shitty political issues of Bangladesh.

It was time for the band to go up on stage whom we waited to see live for so long. Yes, it was time for Orator. They nailed each and every song on stage and even performed a couple of songs from their new album "Kapalgnosis". It was an experience of my life to see this band live. As far as i remember the last song of the day for them was the "Bestial Death" cover which was nailed perfectly.

After the show we all went for some moments to be captured and some memories to be added.

The venue was soon cleared and we headed towards Nafis bhai's place for some Old Monk ritual after dinner at Teyari house. We were both happy and sad that time. Happy because the show went great, sad because we were supposed to leave the place, the brothers and everyone the next morning. Partho bhai was already missed by all of us because he had to leave because of some family issues. We spent the whole night at Nafis bhai's place listening to some good old school death metal. We went back to Amit bhai's place around 6 am in the morning. As soon as we were done packing out bags, we started our way back to our country. The bus left from Kalyanpur for Kolkata around 8 am in the morning. The wonderful nature, indescribable hospitality and the brothers we made are already missed. We hope to get back there very soon. Some brothers need special mentioning.

I am a Soldier

Verse 1

like a bird in the cage
and a girl in her teenage
our blood bonded with restrictions
we shed our blood
and forget about our days
the days of happiness
we are people of the same kind
we stand together and wonder
we wonder under the same sky

Verse 2

We've walked through the glass
hurdled with terror
our purpose might sound immaterial
only wrath is our mother
sweating bullets every time
we have no shame
our life is our only pride
when people dream of a better house
we dream of a better tomorrow

Chorus

i am a soldier what are you?
you say your life is wasted?
blinded with arms and despair
fear has been an ignored friend
no one cares about our cry
and no one knows
how far we will go
and when we will die

Communal Carnage

As long as they compel sense
Into the cordial manslaughter
No power to criticize
Analyzing the fucking system
Fuck those people with a badge
Beat the shit out of those with a gun
Seeking for fundamental freedom
Sue the dogmatic leaders and their words

This is communal carnage
Where the blood comes first
Quenches everyone's thirst
Seek and destroy the debauched
Bring equitable piece of propagation
Or you go on with this forever

Bring the iniquitous to the streets, tear the fucking attire
Tenacious counterfeits and moronic defrauders
Shackle the puerile minds and crush them
Time to deflate the fucking lies
And liquidate the fraudulent democrat
With an unscrupulous piece of shit or mind
Turning the heat, slaughtering the mercenary
Putting guns against the societal axioms

This is communal carnage
Where the blood comes first
Quenches everyone's thirst
Seek and destroy the debauched
Bring equitable piece of propagation
Or you go on with this forever

Loathsome and repulsive restrictions off your mind
You are not here to surrogate
Exasperate and bully constabulary
Mutilate the pride they carry in their shirt

This is communal carnage
Where the blood comes first
Quenches everyone's thirst
Seek and destroy the debauched
Bring equitable piece of propagation
Or you go on with this forever
